Whitening techniques (also referred as bleaching)

This procedure involves whitening teeth when the patient's teeth are in the ideal condition and when a more conservative approach is required without having to remove any tooth structure.

There are three whitening systems that are commonly used: (the first two we recommend and the third we do not recommend).

1. IN OFFICE POWER WHITENING
This in office whitening system is normally completed in one hour with our state of the art Zoom 2 laser whitening system as seen on the television show “ Extreme Makeover ”.

2. HOME WHITENING
The second technique is achieved through DAC'S dentist controlled, dentist supervised, take home whitening system with custom made whitening trays worn overnight.

3. OVER THE COUNTER
We DO NOT RECOMMEND this unsupervised and unsafe method for whitening teeth.
