This treatment is prescribed when the patient has lost one, several or all of their teeth and the patient seeks a more stable, comfortable restorative solution. In many cases an implant can be placed immediately following an extracted tooth. This treatment involves surgical placement of high purity titanium cylinders into the bone below the soft tissue (gum), once the implant is bone integrated it can be restored to it's original function and esthetics with a treatment option most suited to the patient. In the majority of implant cases they can be finished in a four to five month period. Before beginning any implant procedure a thorough dental/medical evaluation is completed that covers general health, lifestyle habits and oral hygiene.
